Q: Can LANDsuite Professional run on an Apple Computer?
A: Yes. Apple has certain Macs that are able to run Windows-based programs. Check with the manufacturer of your computer for full compatibility specifications.

Q: Why does RMP sell its own computers?
We custom build all our personal computers based on the
latest technology and most reliability components. We can
only do this with the freedom of not being a reseller for
someone else. We are not restricted to sell "canned" systems
that quickly lose their shelf life. Customers often come to us with
their own specs, who want a computer of the highest quality and best performance, that is 100% Microsoft Windows XP and Vista compatible. This way we can offer a good product at a reasonable price. Our complete turnkey systems combine our LANDsuite Professional software and a new computer, monitor and printer at great savings.

Q: What kind of monitor and printer do you recommend?
A: A flat 17" or larger color LCD monitor will provide satisfactory viewing. Laser printers are best to handle mass billing, particularly one with a tray that takes 250 or more sheets of paper. If you need to run NCR forms, a form-feed, high speed LQ (letter quality) dot matrix printer would suffice. Of course, you can run multiple copies on a fast laser as well. A high speed, high quality, color Photo Printer or Inkjet is best for printing jobs rendered in ImageScapes.

Q: Do you recommend a backup system and digital camera?
A: Absolutely. It is IMPERATIVE to always backup your data and design jobs after completing work. We find a USB jump drive or data plug with at least a gigabyte of storage should suffice. For storing a great deal of images, a 4 gigabytes one would be better. A digital camera is also a good thing to have on hand. It saves you a great deal of time and money over having to get photos processed on the outside and put on a CD. And they are not all that expensive.
