Q: Why is ImageScapes no longer sold separately? And can I still use it as a stand alone program?
A: A great deal of time and development has gone into producing the first, truly integrated accounting and imaging software "suite."
Logistically it makes more sense marketing IS as part of LANDsuite, rather than
in piece meal. This way all of our users
benefit from all of the
new features and enhancements, as well as the full General
Ledger and Department of Environmental Conservation
filing
modules. Also, AXP is used to produce the plant list and
proposal. Yes, IS has its own icon and you can run it by itself.
Q: I see ImageScapes and ThumbScapes can run from
inside AccountrixXP. When would I use this new feature?
A: When you run IS from inside AXP, you are able to view "thumbnail" images along with the custom, corresponding horticultural
and hardscapes price list, as well as simultaneously generate a proposal or invoice, and render a "photorealistic"
landscape design! Specimen descriptions and prices automatically appear in the open proposal or invoice as you do your work.
Q: Images in some programs are not good. How are those found in IS?
A: Our patented method of photographing our images similar to a technology once used by the television industry, provides clean
and sharp results. None of our images have that "cookie-cutter" look. We shoot all of our specimens in the field where they are
planted or grown, using special blue backdrops. Then our computerized "lifting" of that background color leaves
images where you can actually see between the branches and other foliage. You would never believe it was not originally part of the new
landscape background you lay it against.
Q: Can I use ImageScapes for anything other than landscape design?
A: Absolutely. The graphics and photos on this web site were touched up, enhanced and generated using ImageScapes!
